The Dining room has been turned into an art studio and it is calling my name. I had coffee with an artist friend Friday afternoon, and she said to me "You have to feel generous when you make art. Somewhere inside of you is a generous spirit who wants to share." I guess that is correct. But it is more like it is calling me back into a serenity to help me deal with the turbulent times I have been going through. I only got as far as Maddy helping me paint a frame today, as more of an experiment than anything else. I guess I did not feel generous enough today -but the weekend is only half over.
I went to some garage sales and an estate sale today and picked up more fun things to put in projects. Among them were a bunch of frames that I want to paint and then get sparked to put something fun inside. Thanks to Cheryl Burnham for selling them cheap to me, as she labored in the almost 100% humidity to get her garage sale ready! If my collecting keeps up, we will find ourselves again before long, as I will spread my art beyond the dining room! Thanks, Chris for allowing me to take it over!
